by Hratch L Karamanoukian, MD and Pierre Aoukar, MD Posted: February 24 All of us, including the President of the United States, have to contend with major life events from time to time. Bereavement, job loss and divorce are big reasons to get stressed out. However, even everyday events can be stressful for many.
If being stuck in traffic or standing in line to pay the cashier are stress factors in your life, then pack your bags and go somewhere where there is no traffic and there are no lines. This will eliminate the stress factors that are constant in your daily life. The same goes for a divorce. Get away from your ex and restart your life!
Start walking, jogging, exercising at the local gym and start meeting new people in new surroundings. Replacing negative thoughts will help you deal with the second most stressful life event ever recorded, DIVORCE.
